If that doesn’t work then please DM us with your username/email and we’ll take a look ? Sorry Hunter, we’re aware of this and trying to resolve it! For now you can try downloading another free game from and then trying Roller Champions again. They also shared a workaround that requires players to download a free Ubisoft game and then try to download Roller Champions. Thankfully, Ubisoft Support commented on the matter and said Roller Champions developers are aware of the issue where the game is asking for an activation key when downloading.
Hi there I’m trying to download roller champions on PC and I go into Ubisoft connect and I only have two tabs news and games so I go to Ubisoft store and try and install it from there and it asks if I have a Activation code by this point i have spent most of the day trying to find out if this an issue on my end or not i even checked in places where other people suggested like the banner in news and it did not show up but in Ubisoft store So all in all, there’s no way to download this free to play game until Ubisoft fixes it. So any attempt to download or play this game leaves you locked needing a keycode that doesn’t exist. I contacted Ubisoft support and they said that there isn’t a keycode for this game, since it is free to play. My friend and I are having the same issue as well, spent hours trying to find a way to download Roller Champions, however every way circles back to being locked behind needing a keycode. Some have also uninstalled and reinstalled Ubisoft Connect but that isn’t helping either. Many are confused as to what is happening and why a recently released free-to-play title requires an activation key in the first place.
While Ubisoft is yet to fix the aforementioned problems, Roller Champions are now reporting a new issue where the game is asking for verification or activation key when downloading ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). While this sounds good on paper, Ubisoft has clearly failed to deliver an enjoyable experience with several technical problems like Sponsor Contracts not progressing and many teaming up with one or no players in ranked matches. The free-to-play title offers a similar experience to Rocket League, but instead of remote-controlled cars, players have to skate their way through to score a goal.
